Design competition for Football Association Serbia

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, football had been postponed. One of the many consequences of this is that the charity “Fans Supporting Foodbanks” were suffering. The charity estimate that they raise between £5,000 to £10,000 per matchday, so with games suspended during the pandemic they were at a loss.

An initiative set up by Dave Will to help raise money for the charity was to illustrate all 254 players from the Official Panini World Cup Sticker book. He asked the online design community to help out, and over 200 artists, illustrators and designers took part, each one illustrating one or two stickers missing from the book. The project was named MIFA.

My contribution towards this project was to illustrate Ahmed Elmohamady, the captain of the Egypt national team and Right Back for Premier League club Aston Villa
